US out of Iran now!

Congressional Democrats in conjunction with assorted anti-war organizations are attempting (unsuccessfully, so far) to set a timed withdrawl of US troops from Iraq. Once our armed forces are freed up from that engagement, how long do you think it will be before they are deployed to Iran? Allow me to make a little prediction here: not very long! And the new deployment (aka invasion) will be fully backed by the Demublican or Republocrat President du jour. We will be defending our citizens from more terrorism!

Well I want no part of that future sham. I say, US out of Iran now!

Perhaps one reason the Bush administration wants them to stay in Iraq is, not to make Iraq more stable (a questionable proposition), but that it’s easier to stage an invasion of Iran from neighboring Iraq. Saves lots of logistics, much more efficient.

I am extremely curious how each presidential candidate would answer the question, “What is your stance on using military force against Iran?”

You’re probably getting tired of me bringing Ron Paul’s name up, but….. since you asked… This speech was given to the US House of Representatives, April 5th, 2006.

An excellent speech indeed! Thanks for posting the link. Who would guess Paul’s a Republican?! His stance and clear thinking is certainly why he gets little to no publicity from the mainstream media (alas). -F
