I downloaded the source for grdesktop, modified it, and successfully rebuilt it. grdesktop is a gnome front-end for rdesktop, used to establish remote connections to Windows servers. My mod enables cut-and-paste by default. It feels great to fix this package myself using free source code and tools! If you’re interested here’s the modified source (including the binary).
