hope for torturers
President Barack Obama was elected to office on a platform of ‘hope’. So it comes as no surprise that he is extending hope to CIA torturers. As he is offering hope to bankers (as long as they’re big enough) and Zionists.

I too think there should be more accountability and/or prosecution of some of those involved, particularly those who authorized these torture tactics and conveniently viewed them on paper alone as a ‘technique’ fruitful in uncovering information for ‘homeland security’ (I wonder about the many immigrants now and years back that are now american citizens and what ‘homeland’ security they find for their loved ones abroad?) But I have to hope that Obama is focusing on looking ahead rather than behind? It is my hope that he in closing Guantanimo as he promised, that his aim is to ensure that this country begin anew. That the U.S. under his watch, practice a new and closer to decent morality than the previous admin. and commander in chief. In any case, abu ghraib and the like we’re despicable and the images we were allowed to see alone, should be enough to sicken anyone who believes any form of truth can come out of torture.
