Strung Out on Strings
There is no PSTR
(not to mention STR),
only LPSTR.
In the flat world of linear memory
the meaningless 'L' rules.
LPSTRs are increasingly rare.
Sightings are diminishing,
crowded out by the LPTSTR and LPCTSTR families.
And then who should show up --
the long-lost uncle BSTR!
CStrings start feeling threatened
while neanderthal char[] go about
their daily business, clueless, even
of the _wchars among them.
These days anyone who is anybody wears TCHAR.
Care for a pot of _T("?")
